Tuna Sandwich
Recipe type: Sandwich
This homemade tuna makes this sandwich a clear winner.
  • 2 Cans of tuna
  • ½ a big carrot diced
  • 1 Celery stick diced
  • ¼ of a small red onion diced
  • 1 Tsp Dijon mustard
  • 5 Tbsp mayo
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 Tsp chili flakes
  • 2 Bacon slices
  • 2 oz of shredded cheese
  • 2 Tomato slices
  • 2 Slices of potato bread
  1. Open the cans of tuna into a bowl and mash with a fork. Add carrots, celery, red onion, Dijon mustard, mayo, chili flakes, salt and pepper. Mix until incorporated.
  2. Place bacon slices in oven at 190C/375F until crispy
  3. Once bacon is crispy take it out and place the potato bread in the oven to toast up for a couple of minutes. Add the shredded cheese to both sides of the bread while toasting at halfway point.
  4. Take out the bread and start assembling your sandwich. I put the tuna on the bottom, bacon strips and then tomato slices. Top if off with other piece of bread and enjoy.
