Ingredients

  • 5 habanero peppers stemmed and chopped
  • 1 thumb size ginger diced
  • ½ sweet onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup vinegar of your choice I used white vinegar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ tsp chili flakes

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a pot and bring to a simmer for 10 minutes with lid covering pot
  • Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes. Add all ingredients into a blender and puree. Pour into bottles and refrigerate. Enjoy!

Puree the mixture, and it is up to you if you want to strain or not. Straining it will give a more smoother and commercial kind of hot sauce. Where not straining it will give it a more chunkier and thicker consistency. I think it comes down to whatever your personal preference is.
